- The International Mask Arts & Culture Organization (IMACO) conducted an overseas visit accompanied by an official letter from Andong City, including key representatives of the organization, to hold working-level consultations regarding the hosting of the 2026 IMACO General Assembly in Weifang.
As a result of this visit, the hosting of the 2026 General Assembly in Weifang was officially confirmed. The delegation also reaffirmed the strengthening of mutual relations through direct engagement with key local figures.
Furthermore, Weifang City proposed directions for future exchange with Andong City, and positive discussions were held on cooperation between the cities’ respective festivals.
This visit was made even more meaningful as IMACO was officially invited as a co-hosting organization to attend the 2025 World Mask Culture and Arts Exhibition, which was jointly organized by Weifang City and IMACO.
