IMACO Activities

On June 19, 2025, the International Mask Arts & Culture Organization (IMACO) held a regular meeting of the IMACO Local Research Center in a virtual format via Zoom. The meeting served as an opportunity to discuss key matters related to the operation of the Local Research Centers. It also helped to strengthen communication among the centers in various regions and to further solidify the foundation for collaboration in IMACO’s future global initiatives. Currently, 17 organizations are participating in the IMACO Local Research Center network, including the Escuela Taller de Saberes Ancestrales in Tobatí, Paraguay. These centers are actively engaging in cultural exchange focused on mask culture and other forms of intangible cultural heritage.
