IMACO Activities

On February 21, an online meeting was held regarding the new agenda of the ‘Korean UNESCO-Accredited NGO Council,’ organized by the Center for Intangible Culture Studies (CICS), a UNESCO-accredited NGO in Korea. The meeting focused on the Overall Results Framework (ORF), providing valuable insights into its new standards, characteristics, objectives, and significance in UNESCO NGO activities.

During the discussion, participants explored the interpretation of the ORF’s eight domains and 26 key indicators, as well as the future direction of activities for IMACO and other domestic NGOs. As a UNESCO-accredited NGO dedicated to preserving and promoting global mask culture, IMACO recognizes the importance of this framework in guiding its mission. With preparations underway for the fourth cycle of re-accreditation, the organization aims to align itself more effectively with UNESCO’s expectations.
