On March 1, the International Mask Arts & Culture Organization (IMACO) was invited to attend the founding general meeting of the U.S. 2nd Infantry Division (KATUSA) Veterans Association.

This event marked the establishment of an association for those who previously served in the U.S. 2nd Infantry Division as part of their military service in Korea. As a UNESCO-accredited NGO in Korea, IMACO had the opportunity to introduce its activities and future initiatives during the gathering.

Notably, officials from the 2nd Infantry Division expressed great interest in IMACO’s extensive mask-related network, particularly in consulting on performances by various organizations, including traditional Korean mask dance preservation societies.
