- Description : On Thursday, September 25, members of the Andong City Council’s Culture and Welfare Committee visited the Secretariat of the International Mask Arts & Culture Organization (IMACO). During the visit, the committee had the opportunity to observe IMACO’s ongoing initiatives and held in-depth discussions on its future development.
The committee members expressed strong support for IMACO’s mask culture projects carried out both locally and internationally, sharing the organization’s future potential and vision. In particular, during the meeting with Secretary-General Choi Woo-hyuk, the committee emphasized IMACO’s role as a cultural and artistic institution representing both Andong City and the Republic of Korea.
Furthermore, Chairman Kwon Ki-yoon of the Culture and Welfare Committee remarked, “We hope that IMACO will continue to expand its role as a bridge of cultural exchange connecting the local community with the world,” extending his strong support for the organization’s efforts to generate a positive impact at both the municipal and national levels.
